Imagery and suggestion are critically important unconscious elements
in most health care communications, for they can significantly affect
the outcome of many medical interventions and therapies. During this groundbreaking
webcast, the originators and long-time developers, researchers, teachers,
and practitioners of ancient and modern imagery-related techniques will
share their unique and extensive expertise, wisdom, and experience through
formal presentations and interactive interviews.
This distinguished faculty includes 25 of the leading international researchers,
clinicians, and authorities in this field. These experts will share their
most recent theories, thoughts, research, techniques, strategies, and
clinical findings concerning imagery, visualization, suggestion, mind/body
medicine, and related topics.
Presenters include AURELIS founder Jean-Luc Mommaerts, MD, MSc; Jeanne
Achterberg, PhD; Daniel J. Benor, MD, ABHM; David E. Bresler, PhD, LAc;
Effie Poy Yew Chow, PhD, RN, LAc; James S. Gordon, MD; Lewis Mehl-Madrona,
MD, PhD; Emmett Miller, MD; Dean Ornish, MD; Kenneth R. Pelletier, PhD,
MD(hc); Martin Rossman, MD; Francine Shapiro, PhD; and David S. Sobel,
MD, MPH. Guest faculty include best-selling crime novelist James Ellroy,
on envisioning addiction and sobriety; legendary Hollywood film producer
Peter Guber, on the power of MAGIC; and preeminent security expert and
best-selling author Gavin de Becker, on “The Gift of Fear.”
Co-sponsoring organizations include the American Holistic Medical Association,
American Health Association, Center for Mind-Body Medicine, Institute
of Noetic Sciences, CSPP/Alliant University, Pacific Graduate School of
Psychology, and Walden University, among others, and CE credits are offered

fees in years. This will allow participation by many providers who are
interested in this work but could not travel, take time from their practices,
